Family Centered Work Courses & Family Developmental Credential

Through a unique partnership between CLOE, CSU Extension, CSU Division of Continuing Education (DCE), the Human Services Network of Colorado and Colorado Head Start Programs human service providers can earn up to 6 undergraduate credits when they take the Family Development Credential (FDC) Training through CSU Extension with the additional on-line course content from the CSU School of Social Work (SSW.) The course content exposes students to the shift in the social work field to a strengths approach in practice. Further it provides the knowledge needed to understand families within a systems perspective and the skills to develop a partnership with families of various backgrounds in order to facilitate self reliance and mobilization of family strengths.
