| The field education program in the CSU School of Social Work is structured to give students an experience of quality and challenge in an agency setting under the guidance and field instruction of a BSW or MSW field instructor with at least two years of post-graduate experience. Our students see the field placement as an opportunity to implement the knowledge, values, and skills learned in the classroom, as well as expand their learning with new and enhanced skills. Many students perceive the field placement experience as the most important element in their BSW/MSW education. |
